Mobiles Providers with 0870 Inclusive Call Minutes

Some mobile phone providers such as Virgin Mobile, Vodafone and EE also include calls to 087 and 084 numbers in some of their call bundles. You can make 0870 free international calls from some UK mobile call plans!

Virgin Mobile SIM Only         With Virgin Mobile SIM Only* tarriffs calls to 870 number are free of charge if you are on a pay monthly tariff of £10 per month or more. (N.B. If you are on a £5 or £8 per month tariff you will be charged for calling 0870 numbers). Check your Virgin mobile user terms to confirm before using the service.

EE, T-MOBILE AND ORANGE         If you regularly call service numbers, EE (including T-Mobile and Orange) offers an 084 and 087 add-on that gives you cheaper calls for just a service charge of 1p per minute. For £3 a month (£2.50 excluding VAT) you’ll get 300 minutes to call numbers that start with 084 and 087. This will give you peace of mind that you will always have an allocated number of minutes per month to call service numbers. If would like to have this add-on added to your account, text 08MINS to 150 (n.b. for Orange text 08MINS to 6640) and you will receive a text message advising you that it is live.

Please note: This add-on is only available for Pay Monthly and Small Business customers. In certain cases, if you have an Android device you may receive a pop-up message saying you ‘may be charged’ for sending a text. You will not be charged for the text you send. This message appears due to a quirk within the operating system.

Opting out of the service numbers add-on: If you decide that you no longer want the 08 add-on, text STOP 08MINS to 150 or (text STOP 08MINS to 6640 for Orange).

Once you have activated this addon, you can call the destinations listed below from your inclusive minutes therefore making 0870 free international calls!

Vodafone           Get 300 minutes to call any number starting with 084 and 087 in the UK, for just £2.50 a month.
